I think teenagers have trouble enough with thinking long term and suicide is too romantic a notion for them. Books like this, that are rushed at the end or poorly written, need the benefit of a good book editor instead of one trying to meet deadlines. We have all been victims of purchasing a poorly written, poorly edited book. This publisher and author both deserve a thump on the head. Besides the Twilight series and Harry Potter, I have kind of stayed away from the supernatural/other-worldly books that seem to be so popular.
