When I saw the title of this book, I immediately jumped at the opportunity to read it. There is something empowering about reading an empowering book from such an empowering female. Before jumping into this review, I have to say that simply reading the first 30 pages of Sarah Robb O’Hagan’s book motivated me more than ever.

Extreme You is a very simple concept that is often overlooked by millions of people around the world. We live in a culture where many people tend to conform to the societal standards of what is acceptable. The truth is, most people have accepted “comfortability” in their lives. While being comfortable is great, where does being comfortable get you? Sarah Robb O’Hagan realized this very early on. She knew from the time she was young that she wanted to be a champion. To become a champion, there needed to be effort and a fair amount of grit.

This book was born from the idea that every single human being can attain and do anything they dream of; however, you must act towards doing so. Many times, it takes stepping outside of your comfort zone and tuning into your “Extreme You”. The way O’Hagan writes the book is kind of addicting. It’s relatable, fun, and easy to read.

In total, O’Hagan’s stories were my favorite parts of this book and described how more times than not, she either conquered the obstacle in front of her or at least showed up and kicked ass. What’s so amazing is that even though O’Hagan became one of the most successful female business leaders in the world, she talks about her struggles–the same struggles many of us face every day. Everything she writes about comes from a personal level, making the book that much more appealing. One story that definitely stood out came right in the beginning when O’Hagan began to discuss how she arrived at the concept of “Extreme You”. It was in that moment that I realized that this book was going to be a gold mine.

If you are finding yourself wanting more but struggling to achieve more success, this is a book I would totally suggest. This is probably one of the better self-help and motivational books that I have read within this niche.
