I loved this show, watched ecvery episode. I get tired of the same old situation comedy and this one had some fresh ideas in it because of being in India. Not all call centers are located in India. I had a great talk with someone who was in Ireland. Problem was that she couldn't help me but she did sound sypathetic. Now I can't remember why I called, just that I liked her.

Wow! This is news to me! I have actually seen the movie and found it pretty good! Hope they don't mess up the TV series. Although, I wonder how they are going to drag it into a TV series since I felt the movie was sufficient.

I think the show looks funny and probably not one that you have to follow from week to week.

I had someone calling me from India every month because I ordered a prescription on-line once (based on a friend's advice). I would tell them every month that I did not want a refill, that I wasn't taking that prescription. This probably went on for a year and a half. Then I started telling them that Sharon (me) had moved. I did that over and over and over. Every once and a while my husband or son would just say I was not home. I was getting to the point of yelling (swearing was next on the list). Now they only call about every 3-4 months. I do not have caller-id so I have to really be sure it is them before I tell them I moved.

Hubby and I really enjoyed the movie and are looking forward to this show. I'm not really sure how well it will go over with the TV public. There may be a lot of animosity about losing losing one's job due to outsourcing.

We are originally from India and even we get frustrated by the call centers.

I watched your clip, Vera, and I thought that accent part was the funniest too! We don't have a DVR and I have a terrible memory regarding tv. If I really want to watch something, I have to tell my 5 year old to remind me to turn it on. "Tell mom to turn on the tv tonight at 8:00, okay?" Believe me, it's a less than reliable system.

I saw the movie and thought it was cute and funny-not sure if I really think that they can make a sitcom out of it. I must say there are a few companies I deal with regularly and I appreciate that when you call customer service you are dealing with people in the US. My frustration is not so much the outsourcing but the press 1 for this and 2 for this and then 20 minutes later you get to talk to someone.

I saw a commercial for this during a football game a week or so ago, and thought it looked like a variation of 'The Office' -- maybe trying to find something to fill that impending void? Looks funny ... Not sure I'll *have* to watch it, but I'll probably catch it when I can, if for no other reason than to see if it's really what I'm led to believe via the previews :)
