jetReviewed by Sarah Horwath

Jet by Jay Crownover is a story of a rocker and a southern belle with a troubled past, Ayden. Jet wears tight leather pants and has this deepness about him that is every girl’s dream but not Ayden’s. She has had plenty of bad experiences with men and even her own brother coming around and starting trouble. Jet and Ayden both have very different definitions of what a relationship is. Ayden wants more than a one night stand; she wants a man that will stand by her and respect her while Jet is just looking to have some fun. However, despite their pasts and both of their minds saying it is not a good idea to hook up they end up doing so anyway.  Naturally, the hook up causes some complications–I won’t say any more so as not to ruin the surprise for readers.

I really loved the story of Ayden and Jet–they were very different personalities and yet similar in many ways. Their chemistry was definitely very intense and sizzled off the pages. I loved every second spent with these two. I truly enjoyed both characters; they found a way into my heart and stayed there. I only have praises for Crownover’s writing style as well. I have read and loved another one of her books, Rule. Her writing style has a way of drawing me in and making me want to spend more time reading.

I would definitely encourage romance readers unfamiliar with Jay Crownovers to give her books a try. I have loved her from the day I found Rule in the Kindle store. Her stories are just so heartwarming and make my heart melt. She is one of my favorite authors this year!
