A friend of mine was talking about Rivers's new book on facebook the other day, but I never did find out the title or why she was so engrossed. Now I can kind of understand why ... This is quite an intriguing premise. Definitely going to have to get my hands on this one and read it - and a hundred thank you's for the advance notice of a cliffhanger! I hate stumbling upon those unawares, haha

I think one of the woman in our bookclub is going to pick this for us to read. I am looking forward to it. I have read her books before and enjoyed them. Thanks for the review.

Sounds intriguing, but cliffhangers drive me nuts! May wait until the next one comes out, then read them back to back. Great review!

This book sounds fascinating! I have never read anything by this author but I might have to give her a try (I love finding a new series of books to follow!). I always find it fascinating how people try to live a different life from the one they grew up with and end up repeating the same issues (as it appears Marta does). She was raised in a strict, abusive household and it sounds like she did the same to her children. Will have to keep my eye out for this one.
