Now I can kind of understand why ... This is quite an intriguing premise. Definitely going to have to get my hands on this one and read it - and a hundred thank you's for the advance notice of a cliffhanger! I have never read anything by this author but I might have to give her a try (I love finding a new series of books to follow!). I always find it fascinating how people try to live a different life from the one they grew up with and end up repeating the same issues (as it appears Marta does). She was raised in a strict, abusive household and it sounds like she did the same to her children. Will have to keep my eye out for this one. This book sounds fascinating!
