I totally agree with the reviewer, this is no value to this book. I probably wouldn't be able to get through it because of the language and sex but it without anything to redeem it, it seems like the author is trying to make money off of domestic violence and assualts on women which makes me cringe. However, it sounds as if this author and book is just using these phrases and descritions just for not so much "shock value" but because they think it is interesting or that more people will pick up the book if it is deemed "scandalous" just to see what exactly is inside, it does not sound like it would have to be included to help us understand the character or to move the story forward, I believe there could have been a better way in this case, therefore again this is not the book for me. While I am not necessarily against cursing and sexual descriptions in books I don't think it should be used as filler, laziness or to shock. Some wonderful books contain these elements but use them in a mature way as a learning model for the morals or storyline of the plot. This just sounds like smut.
