all the missing girls book coverReviewed by Jenna Arthur

Corinne. What happened to Corinne?

Ten years ago Nicolette (Nic), her brother, and their friends lived through a terrible ordeal. One night, their friend Corinne mysteriously disappeared. No one knows why. No one knows who. No one knows anything but what Nic and her friends had told the police. But they were keeping secrets…Corinne was keeping secrets. Could these secrets be the reason she is gone?

Ten years after Nic’s best friend, Corinne, disappeared, Nic is forced to go back to Cooley Ridge to help her brother deal with their father and the vacant house that was once their childhood home. Prior to coming to town, Nic received an out of character letter from her father saying that he saw the girl. The only girl Nic can think of is Corinne. Does her father know something? Nic’s father is losing his mind, going senile, but she must know what he meant. So she goes home.

Days into her visit, she gets a call and finds out that Annalise Carter, her friend Tyler’s fiance, is missing.

Is Annalise another Corinne? Nic is determined to find out. She learns Annalise has been asking after Corinne’s case. Could this be the reason she’s gone?

All the Missing Girls is a story that starts from the end, goes to the beginning, and back again. You get to watch as Nic, her brother Daniel, ex-boyfriend Tyler, and others tie together, twisting in and out of each other’s stories until a conclusion comes to light. Was it Daniel, the man with a baby on the way? Or Tyler, who looks suspicious to everyone? Could it be Jackson, Corinne’s ex? No one knows. Live with the characters through ten years and from day fifteen to day one as they find the truth.

All the Missing Girls is well written, has an easy to follow plot and has many twists and turns to keep you invested. Nicolette’s personality development makes her relatable, leaving you cheering her on throughout this mystery. This plot shows how past and present correlate and how a single day can leave things in a haze.
